A strange Darwinian headline

I’ve read this a couple of times, and I’m confused. Why did they use the word “Darwinism” rather than “evolution”?

Weekly WTF: Global Terrorism license plates

Seriously. License plates. This will be helpful…how?

I noticed that South Carolina definitely wins the “largest number of random of license plate types you can buy for any possible cause” award. Between Nascar, a sunken submarine commemorative plate, and square dancing, it must be next to impossible to figure out what state people are from there.
