Things continue to be crazy at work. Hope to be back soon.

How about a really cute bush cricket nymph? Thanks to Lord V for the very cute little bugger.

  1. Just make sure it stays out of my chocolate!

  2. Whoa. I bet LordV had to pay extra to get one with such adorably stripy legs.

  3. So very green! Nice looking bug!

  4. Also, Orthopterist opinion needed–bush cricket appears to both function as a common name for Katydids (Tettigoniidae), and as an actual group of crickets (Gryllidae).

Anyone recognize this nymph? It looks very katydid-ish to me.

  5. This really is a cute little bug! I’m usually not much for them, but I would hold this little guy. Great markings, beautiful expression of life.
