Yeah, it’s a viral video, but it’s a viral INSECT video. I clearly need to get my minions better trained so that I can power up my iPhone.
I do feel a little bad for the beetle that was shot out of a cannon, though….

This video also raises some really interesting questions about what it’s “appropriate” to do with insects, compared to other animals.

  2. That was funny, but there’s no way that mantis is pedaling by herself, nor is the tarantula moving the treadmill, etc., right? And did you see the time on the cellphone? 5:40AM. Somebody was up all night making this. There is a disclaimer that says no bugs were harmed in the making of this video. Hope that’s true.

  3. I thought this was a very clever ad and someone put a lot of thought into it, not your normal flea circus, but at least other insects are getting exposure in the media in a light hearted way as opposed to the destruction they can possibly cause.
